Summer Glau

 Glau's first TV appearance was as a guest on in the 2002 episode of Angel. She was discovered by director JossWhedon, who eventually was cast as River Tam in the critically-acclaimed TV series Firefly. The role was also reprised for Serenity's feature film sequel. Glau previously auditioned for the role of an Power Ranger (White Wild Force Ranger Alyssa Enrile) in Power Rangers Wild Force but was unable to beat the actress Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon.Glau played the role in the episode "Love Conquer Al" of the TV series Cold Case. She was Shelly who was a high school senior in Sleepover. She was also in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode "What's Gilbert Grissom eating? " as well as season two of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girlfriend of Jeremy Erhart). In 2006, Glau played Tess Doerner as a paranoid schizophrenia returnee during the season two premiere of The 4400, and became the main character from season three onwards. Mammoth was also her horror comedy character. Glau was also cast in ABC Family TV's movie The Initiation of Sarah. Glau played Cameron Phillips in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. The series premiered on January 13, 2008. The seventh episode, "The Demon Hand" featured several scenes in which Glau (in the role of Cameron) dances ballet and, Glau also played Allison Young (Cameron's human Doppelganger) in the sequel season's episodes "Allison from Palmdale" and "Born to Run". Glau also starred as herself on an CBS episode in 2009 of The Big Bang Theory's comedy.
