Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the child of Peter Silk, an academic and Ilkay Silk, an multi-talented actor as well as a producer, director and educator, playwright and Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's father is British, as is her mother was a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Her mother was always watching her working in rehearsals for plays. In her early years, Anna was featured in a variety of commercials. Anna was able to move to Toronto for her acting to grow. Later, the actress relocated Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, at an actor's workshop. They became engaged in 2009, after they got married. Anna has recently converted to Judaism and married Seth Cooperman in Fredericton.
