Paula Patton is an actress and producer best known for her leading roles in the action spy movie Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and the romantic film Precious. At the age of a girl she was raised in a Los Angeles middle-class household. Her mother was a film lover and urged her to enjoy films when she was a kid. Paula was involved in her school's co-curricular activities and especially captivated by drama. She was a member of her class as well as participated in school's plays. After performing in several shows at her high school, Hamilton Magnet Arts High School, she decided to make acting her occupation. In a summer program in the University of Southern California, she was awe-inspiring there. She won a three-month assignment producing documentaries on behalf of PBS. She started her career as a TV production assistant following the completion of this task. In the following years, she transitioned to producing documentaries. But she still had a desire to work as an actress even though she was satisfied at her job. She started her career in acting with a role as Will Smith's co-star for the love story Hitch. She has since played in numerous popular films and television series.
