Dolly-Parton

born on January. 19th, 1946, in Locust Ridge Tenn into a low-income family that would ultimately comprise 12 kids Dolly Parton learned early to get away from the struggles of living through her vibrant and expansive imagination. Prior to learning how to read or write Dolly Parton had already begun to compose her own songs. Her first guitar purchase came at age 8 and started performing on a Knoxville Tenn radio station at age 11. Gold Band Records is a small label that is independent. At the age of 16, she established herself in the community, but her dream was greater. After graduating the high school in 1964, she moved straight to Nashville. Dumb Blonde was her first single to reach the top of the charts at the top of Monument Records. Porter Wagoner, a syndicated show on TV in the late '60s, was looking for a girl to sing for his show. Parton became a member of Grand Ole Opry 1969 after having signed to RCA Records. But she resigned from the show in 1974 when her solo songs like Joshua Coat of Many Colors and Jolene were charting collaborations with them. Parton, after the split of their partnership with Wagoner, wrote I Will Always Love You and saw it climb to the top spot at No. The first time it made it to number 1 was in 1974.
